Job Description

The Channel Sales Manager is responsible for developing the company’s reseller and dealer partnerships with the end goal of increasing sales revenue. You will create with and manage our reseller partner relationships; this includes identifying, recruiting, motivating and providing sales training to new resellers. A primary function of the job will be to ensure the resellers focus on selling e3’s Kymeta and Hybrid solutions. The scope of the company’s reseller channels include Value Added Reseller (VARs) integrators, super yacht shipyards, Service Providers (SPs) who purchase to sell through their own resellers and other market VARs. The Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for working with these companies.
This is currently a European based position and you will spend at least 50% of your time travelling.


  • Identify, recruit and sign new reseller partners globally.
  • Develop close business relationships with reseller partners at all levels of sales activity.
  • Position, promote and market Kymeta and Hybrid within all reseller channels.
  • Inform, educate and motivate the reseller partners to ensure excellent sales focus and results.
  • Recruit, manage, train and coach regional sales managers (RSMs).
  • Build, develop and maintain excellent working relationships with RSMs to ensure they reach agreed targets.
  • Engage the RSMs to ensure they maintain regular sales activity with the reseller partners in their territory.
  • Provide regular feedback and detailed reports to management on reseller partner activity.
  • Travel regularly to reseller partner locations.
  • Increase each reseller partner’s ability and inclination to actively pursue new sales of Kymeta and Hybrid.
  • Job Requirements

    Essential Requirements

    • Ordinary degree level or equivalent qualifications in a business or technology related subject.
    • Minimum two years’ demonstrable successful experience in B2B sales.
    • Results orientated and with proven ability to hit sales targets.
    • Proven successful experience developing and managing technology channel networks.
    • Demonstrable experience and knowledge of communication technology products and solutions.
    • Excellent understanding and knowledge of the sales process.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Excellent business sense and strong commercial knowledge and understanding.
    • Ability to work very effectively within a culturally and geographically diverse team in addition to working well independently and remotely.
    • Strong and effective sales training skills, including the ability to give presentations in front of groups and to coach and mentor individuals.
    • Proven ability to work under pressure and to manage multiple priorities at the same time.
    • Ability to adapt and rise to the challenge of a fast paced and growing company environment.

    Highly Desired Requirements

    • Previous experience in mobile and satellite data communications.
    • Previous training in sales and the selling process.
    • Good understanding of networking technologies.
    • Previous experience with the VAR channels.
    • Knowledge of the yachting market and other maritime mobile markets.
    • Ability to speak other European languages.
