Our award winning communications section has extensive experience of providing individual communication services to vessels and now offers an all inclusive service to manage the vessel´s complete communication services.
This includes:
- Design, supply and installation of any of the communication equipment that a vessel may need, covering voice, fax, SMS and broadband data with reference to requirement and geographic locations.
- Communication options include VSAT, Inmarsat, GSM, 3G/HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Wi-Max and Iridium.
- Provision and recommendation of airtime contracts to suit needs and budgets.
- Single source billing for all providers.
- Cost control advice and recommendations for each service.
- Recommendation of the best service providers to use based on any route plan.
- Integration of data services via our Data Service Controller.
- Management and monitoring of onboard data services.
- Customised service plans to suit vessel's needs.
As the largest provider of VSAT and 3G services to the marine industry we have been instrumental in designing the communication services offered by some VSAT service providers and also for GSM services for the maritime market. We have now designed our own eVSAT and e3G communication services which are only available through e3 and our e3 Partners.
