6th August, 2010. Incredible news! Inmarsat have announced a $1bn order with the Boeing Group for 3 VSAT Ka band satellites to be launched and in service by 2014. The Ka-band service will provide up to 50Mbps on 20cm to 60cm globally. The service is planned to be available in 2014. Watch this space!
