Marine Broadband Apps Store at the Monaco Yacht Show
Monday 20th September. In just over 24 hours time the Monaco Yacht Show will be open from Wednesday morning until end of Saturday and you will have the first opportunity to visit the Marine Broadband Apps Store presented by e3.
Ten members of our team will be in Monaco all week and we will be showcasing all the best current Applications that you can use if you have marine broadband. These will include telemedicine from Guardian Twenty Four Seven Presidential Ready Rooms and Ocean Medical with their STS Lite portable telemedicine unit. Jetstream with their IPTV solution. Come and see US TV and Russian TV running live. See how you can print your home town local newspaper and how to receive a call on your cell phone mid ocean.
From the captain's point of view DaGama will be showing you how to update your complete chart outfit automatically and receive all the notices to mariners and receive weather routing all electronically.
We will be launching our new e brand range of products and services including eVSAT, e3G and eDSC. These are all available from us and our Partners.
We will also have with us on our booth representatives from MTN our preferred VSAT service. Please come and talk with any of the guys from MTN about why MTN is the choice service used on the largest yacht in the world and the largest cruise ship in the world and why e3 is their only Master Maritime Service Provider.
We will also have representative from Stratos our preferred Inmarsat service provider. We will have a working new Inmarsat handheld iSatphone for anyone to try.
Our biggest launch at the Show is our new and unique "eCell@Sea powered by MCP" system. This is the new GSM system that turns a yacht into a GSM cell where anyone can use a GSM phone on board in the middle of the ocean and over the horizon. MCP Maritime Communications Partners AS, our partners in this new service, who are the preferred choice on cruise ships and ferries will be on our booth to explain the benefits of this service.
