Anti Mat Tax Protest - Hoot to Boot!
27th April, 2011. As one of the leading yachting companies in Spain we are very active in lobbying the politicians and powers that be to get them to scrap the infamous Mat Tax. This tax, and the fear of over zealous customs officers, is scaring away yachts from our beautiful Balearic Islands. The yachting community of Mallorca has come together to organise a noisy protest and it would be great to have your help. If you are in Mallorca please toot your horns for a minute every day at 12.00 between the 30th April and 8th May! This will coincide with The Palma Boat Show and the Government buildings are located close enough for the politicans to hear at their desks!
