e3 at Antigua & Barbuda ICTFest 2011 and preparations for the winter season
5th November, 2011. e3 showcased their products and services at the Antigua
& Barbuda ICTFest 2011 at the Multipurpose Cultural and Exhibition Center, Perry Bay, Antigua between 10th and 13th October. Of their many visitors, they were very pleased that Prime Minister Baldwin Spencer spent a good ten minutes discussing the products and services they provide to both, their conventional marine clients but also to their land based clients including hotels, resorts, villas, companies and individuals.
A year ago Mark Smith joined e3 to run their branch office in Antigua. Mark has brought his land based clients from Island IT to e3 and has started the extension of e3's services ashore with the benefit of the technical, support and backup provided by the e3 Group. e3 Antigua provide all the services of the e3 Group specifically in Antigua but also throughout the Caribbean directly or via their Partners in Martinique and t
he British Virgin Islands.
e3 exhibited at the ICTFest for the first time this year with the intention of promoting their services to businesses ashore. Mark was also interviewed on Morning TV and Drive Time radio during the show. The event was organised by the Ministry of Information, Broadcasting, Telecommunications, Science and Technology and is a forum to highlight and promote the use of technology in any field.
Mark, Claire, Michael and Salvador are preparing themselves for the arrival of yachts in Antigua for the winter season. They are already preparing new and existing DirecTV activations for yachts that have pre-ordered for their arrival. This winter they will also hold stock of Apple and PC equipment in their office in English Harbour including iPads and accessories. They are also providing a duty free US$ supply of electronics service for yachts. At the end of the season yachts can also leave their DirecTV decoders with e3 Antigua who will look after them and have them activated ready for the yacht's return.
