ChartCo - OceanMaster
Description
OceanMaster is the name given to the ChartCo service for the updates and management
of paper navigation charts and publications as well as digital Notice to Mariners (NtM’s), chart correction tracings, weather updates and news service. These are broadcast on a weekly basis via email, internet and other broadcast means as soon as the national authority releases the data.
Specialising around the British Admiralty and US NtM’s, ChartCo are also able to support Japanese, Brazilian and Australian Hydrographic Office notices which are all available using the ChartCo subscription service via our partner company and official agent, Da Gama.
By subscribing through Da Gama, their experience and wealth of knowledge provides your vessel and management company with a more personal and professional service due to their background as professional mariners.
A major benefit of the ChartCo software is that the system automatically filters out and displays only those weekly corrections relevant to your outfit, whilst retaining the ability to record historical data for when you add to your outfit. Furthermore, it will alert you to when New Editions are available which can then easily be ordered or automatically supplied by Da Gama.
OceanMaster Service Features include:
- PassageManager providing a pictorial overview of the outfit correction status.
- Fixed cost service irrespective of the number of charts carried.
- Automated reception of data, via email, internet or broadcast means.
- Complete NtM’s delivered each week.
- Corrections applicable to the vessels chart outfit are sorted and displayed.
- Outfit management software provides up-to-date records of all charts.
- ISM or Port State inspection reports available on demand.
Now with the new PassageManager software
PassageManager™ is a revolutionary new addition to the range of ChartCo products. An intuitive graphical interface allows product catalogues and vessel outfits to be displayed together with any correction status. Using this information, a comprehensive passage plan can be constructed, saved and printed.
PassageManager™ can be integrated with oceanMaster™ functionality to allow the purchasing of paper and electronic chart products.
Additionally, services such as Port, Tidal and Piracy data can be added to the display as additional layers of data.
The ChartCo Select services provided via the internet or e-mail using eVSAT, e3G or FleetBroadband.
