As a continuing part of our collaboration with Da Gama we can supply you with the latest Transas electronic charts and operating software including type approved Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS) charts, Transas Admiralty Data Service (TADS) or the more basic and common TX-97 charts to assist in maintaining your navigational safety.

Chart Assistant (CA) is the standard Chart administration tool for all Transas onboard systems which use Transas charts.  CA is used to administrate all Transas chart formats used in their navigation systems and accomplishes the following tasks:

 

• Ordering of chart licenses, charts and chart updates. 
• Installation of charts and charts updates.
• Status report for ship / management and for inspections (ISM, Port State etc).

 

 

CA uses the e-mail system to automatically collect chart licenses, charts and chart updates from the mailbox using SMAPI (Simple Messaging Application Programming Interface).  These updates are then applied to the ship’s chart collection.
