Inmarsat FleetBroadband Systems (Preliminary Information)
Continuing in the tradition of launching the best in class systems, Sea Tel FX range of FleetBroadband maritime terminals will be launched in Spring 2012. These maritime terminals will meet some of the
highest maritime industry standards. The above decks equipment (ADE) for Sea Tel FX includes the highest quality antenna system available. Sea Tel FX systems will include below decks equipment (BDE) consisting of intuitive man machine interface (MMI) for easy one-cable setup. Each Sea Tel FX terminal will come standard with a best-in-class maritime handset with moisture ingress rating IP 66.
First to launch around March of 2012 will be the Sea Tel FX 500 with other models to follow. The Sea Tel FX range extends further the comprehensive line of high performance marine stabilised TV and VSAT systems available from a single supplier. Sea Tel FX is being designed for easy integrati
on with its remaining range of dedicated maritime solutions.
At the inception of Inmarsat’s operations in 1979 Sea Tel provided pioneering terminal hardware, and the FX range continues this tradition. The Sea Tel FX range complements Sea Tel’s position as first and premier supplier of hardware to the Inmarsat GX network.
The FX500 will be the ideal complement to the Sea Tel Global Express antennas for the Inmarsat Global Express Ka band VSAT service predicted to be launched in 2013 to 2014.

Sea Tel FX 150: Entry-level FleetBroadband system, includes Voice, SMS, and IP data up to 150 kbps.

Sea Tel FX 250: Powerful yet compact FleetBroadband system delivering Voice, Fax, SMS and IP data up to 284 kbps.

Sea Tel FX 500: Full-specification FleetBroadband system, includes Voice, Fax, SMS and IP data up to 432kbps.
