As the autumn leaves start to fall in Mediterranean Europe, plans are being put into place for the Caribbean cruising season. Whether island hopping in the Caribbean or coast hugging along the US seaboard, let us help you manage your yacht communications to ensure you stay continuously connected and entertained whilst at sea.

Caribbean Roaming Plans – Launch of our marine 3G and 4G Single SIM with Pan Caribbean Roaming!

No more messing about changing SIM cards. Our new single data roaming SIM covers all Digicel Caribbean countries. Key features:

  • Blocked in any other area not covered to avoid bill shock.
  • Single APN.
  • Contracted on a monthly basis.
  • Unlimited Data service allocation of 50GBs after which a speed reduction may be applied. No additional charges for surpassing this limit.
  • Alongside this service we are also offering Pre-paid Pan Caribbean Roaming Voice & Data bundles.

Both of the above are available in the 3G/4G Digicel network in all the Digicel Caribbean Territories, as follows: Anguilla, Aruba, Barbados, Bermuda, Bonaire, Antigua & Barbuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman, Curacao, Dominica, El Salvador, French Guiana, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Jamaica, Martinique, Montserrat, Panama, St.Kitts & Nevis, St. Barth, St. Lucia, St. Martin, St. Vincent and The Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks & Caicos.

T-Mobile Data: If you are coast hopping in the US we also offer a flexible pay as you go marine 4G LTE national data plan with T-Mobile USA.

    Caribbean VSAT Plans

Owners and guests will be surfing, streaming and sharing whilst on-board in the Caribbean, eating up precious bandwidth. Make sure they can stay connected by temporarily upgrading your bandwidth. VSAT upgrades can be activated in minimum increments of 1 week as and when required, with as little notice as 48 hours for shared services.

If you plan to sail beyond the Caribbean, for example through Panama to the Pacific, North to Alaska or to Canada, let us know your sailing itinerary with as much notice as possible so that we can help plan coverage for your trip.

    DirecTV Caribbean

Latest news from DirecTV Caribbean is that they have launched a new satellite and are in the process of transferring channels. Unfortunately, this has resulted in fewer channels currently being available on Galaxy 3C at 95ºW for viewing in the Caribbean. The US Network channels (ABC, CBS, etc.) have been removed, and coverage of the premium channels cannot be guaranteed.

To avoid disappointment, we have therefore removed those extra packages (HBO Max, Movie City, Sports Max) from our price list until further notice. All the DirecTotal Basic channels are still available, as well as HD decoders with or without recording facility.

If your guests require particular programming during their charter, please check with us in advance. Contact us for latest prices and full channel listing, as provided by DirecTV Trinidad, now the only service provider for yachts cruising the Caribbean.

    e3.IPTV

To complement your DirecTV satellite viewing, check out our neat e3.IPTV box. As long as you have a good data connection (at least 1.2Mbps), you can watch UK TV in the Caribbean and, with our easy catch-up feature, you can watch programmes at a time of day that suits you. No need to get up in the middle of the night to watch “live”! So, whether it’s 6-Nations Rugby, Downton Abbey or X-factor that rocks your boat, you can watch then all on e3.IPTV during the Caribbean months.
