Sales Manager

Job Summary:

e3 Systems specialises in providing Communications and IT services for large yachts. These yachts are floating homes and offices and need the same level of systems and connectivity at sea that is needed ashore.  e3 is based in the yachting centre of Mallorca. We offer the opportunity to be based in Mallorca or work remotely.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager with knowledge and experience of maritime connectivity to lead our sales team. The Sales Manager will play a critical role in maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for upselling, and driving the acquisition of new clients. Reporting directly to the Management Board, this role requires strategic leadership to achieve sales targets, provide regular sales reports, and ensure the overall growth and success of the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

 

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Set clear performance objectives, monitor progress, and provide feedback and coaching to enhance skills.
  • Organize regular training sessions and share industry knowledge to ensure the team stays ahead of market trends.

 

Client Relationship Management:

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty and long-term engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell additional services/products, ensuring clients are aware of our full range of offerings.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for major client concerns, working towards swift and satisfactory resolution.

 

New Business Development:

  • Develop strategies to identify and approach new clients, expanding the company’s customer base.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential growth opportunities and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create campaigns that target key prospects.

 

Sales Strategy and Reporting:

  • Develop and implement sales plans aligned with the company’s objectives, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
  • Track, analyse, and report on sales performance, pipeline progress, and market conditions to the Management Board on a monthly basis.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales processes and enhance productivity.

 

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with other departments (e.g., technical, airtime and marketing) to ensure seamless client service and alignment of strategies.
  • Serve as a liaison between the sales team and the Management Board, ensuring alignment on goals and objectives.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience of maritime connectivity products and solutions.
  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role, managing teams and driving sales results.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, client relationship management, and business development.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyse sales data and provide actionable insights.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent level of English, other languages an advantage.
  • Ability to travel.

 

Compensation:

  • Competitive salary plus performance-based commission.
